Learning in Community

Just as we believe it is good and right for our children to learn together, we also believe teachers benefit from community. Recently, I attended the virtual Child Light Schools Conference with administrators of several Charlotte Mason schools. How sweet to partner with educators who are sharpening and encouraging one another! I was particularly encouraged by the sessions with Donovan Graham, who encouraged us to think about Christ's call to bring God's kingdom. I was challenged and encouraged to think through the ways in which the gospel and the message of the Kingdom applies to our teaching and interaction with students.

As our co-teachers, all of our Montgomery Academy families are encouraged to join our staff in the viewing and discussion of these conference sessions. Please be on the lookout for the links and session dates arriving in your inbox soon! We love to see our children enjoying learning together and look forward to growing together as teachers.
